AEESP Research & Education Meeting 2022

Well, it’s been a minute since I posted a “blog” update here. In August 2020 I started remotely as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Jeremy Guest’s Group and the Center for Advanced Bioenergy and Bioproducts Innovation (CABBI) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Hard to believe I’m coming up on almost two years in this position! I have really enjoyed working in CABBI and with the Guest Group on techno-economic analysis (TEA) and life cycle assessment (LCA) of bioproducts.

Recently, I attended the American Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP) Research and Education Conference on the Washington University campus in St. Louis. I presented a poster: Harmonizing Assumptions Between TEA and LCA of Bioproducts. I really enjoyed the conference and meeting so many folks in environmental engineering!
