This past weekend was our annual ABE Graduate Student Association (ABE-GSA) Graduate Industrial Research Symposium. Hard to believe this was the 7th annual considering I was here for the … 2nd!
This year I wasn’t involved with the symposium planning as I try to wrap up my dissertation work. I was also hosting a visitor here for our prospective student weekend. It’s always wonderful to talk to visiting prospective students about grad school and all the neat research going on in ABE at Purdue. I had a poster at the poster session to help showcase my and my advisor’s work and enjoyed talking to current Purdue folks as well as our industry guests and visitors.
As always, the ABE-GSA did a great job with the event and I am sure everyone is looking forward to hosting it in our brand-new building next year!
